After the success of the Blanco lace ups, the first question we have been asked is "will they come in a dial version too". And we get it, laces are not for everyone. We love lace ups, but plenty figure they spend years tying up school shoes laces, why do it riding. So we listened and are stoked to announce that the VeloKicks Blanco dials are now a reality.

So whatever your game, dress them up or dress them down. Racing or casual riding. Blanco dials are the ideal contemporary crisp kicks.

For years we have been asked "do you make shoes?". "How can I get some shoes that will stand out from the crowd?". "Where should I look for shoes that are different and outside of the traditional designs?".

After months of design and prototype works, we are proud to introduce the first shoes from VeloKicks. Season 1. The very first of our seasonal ranges.

Number one is bold - without being a complete punch in the face. A pastel jigsaw of colours, they are what we love: unique and attention grabbing without turning the dial to 11. Pair with some darker socks to keep the look sedate or bright tubes to really make the kicks pop, these shoes were created so that the only limit on their expression is you.

We designed the upper to be both spacious and comfortable. With one half of VeloKicks a qualified Podiatrist, the years of experience working with feet meant we were able to stipulate features that would deliver a plush interior with a volume that that helps prevent the dreaded 'hot spots'. These are shoes that don't just make a statement as you ride, they are shoes that feel so good that you want to be riding in them. 

SOLD OUT: Season 1 has indeed sold out. Like all seasonal offerings, once they are gone that is it. We can however re-create a design that is close to this if the FOMO is strong or you only just discovered VeloKicks. Due to it now being a custom painted option the pricing and process is the same as our custom design offerings, as such you'll have the option to have a choice of the colours employed in the layout, match it more closely to your colourway of choice. Size is selected with an email to admin@velokicks.cc where we also discuss paint options. But Season 1 as seen in the shots (and at the seasonal price) is sold out.

You said "we want a crisp, white kick", we delivered with the Blanco. You asked could we do it with dials, the Blanco dials were born. It was only after winter hit owners - fearful of getting their fresh kicks dirty - again emailed..."is there a chance of a black VK?". And with Run The Jewels telling us "black on black on black" we knew what we had to do. Season 4 could only be one thing: Nero blackouts.

Only we didn't stop stylin' with the stealth finish, Nero (Blackout) is the debut of our new upper design. Increased vamp and offset wire retention points are designed to help those riders who suffer from dorsal irritation to experience an even more comfortable - yet secure - fit. Instead of four lengths of wire running across the top of the top of the foot, it's cushioned upper keeping the foot snug and fixed within the kicks. This decreases potential pressure points while sacrificing nothing when it comes to full contact in the shoe to foot interface. The layout and design of the lower dial and wire system means that either sides are not 'pulled' in. This creates a more even tension distribution across the toebox, with the result a being less focal tightening (and potential pressure) and ultimately a bit more volume.

They might be kicks designed with winters in mind - but we promise you'll still be wearing Blackouts come summer.
